Danielle has been a dancer for over 20 years, choreographer for over 10 years and has had a heart for dance since she can remember. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from Hunter College, she has truly dedicated her entire life to the art of dance. Danielle has studied or taught many genres, from the ballet fundamentals to ballroom and hip hop. Danielle has been submerged in every aspect dance has to offer, traveling the country for dance, studying behind the scenes of dance productions, and performing on multiple stages. She also holds a certification in yoga and has experience teaching barre fitness!
Throughout Danielle’s experiences she has learned that dance is also the platform for developing responsibilities, discipline and lifelong relationships. Her passion for dancing, teaching and directing will continue to make DANCEintensity a place for dancers of all levels to enjoy. She looks forward to sharing everything she has to offer with our incredible students!
Heather has been a dance instructor, choreographer, and mentor for young dancers in both recreational and competitive dance classes for over twenty years. She holds a degree in education and is very excited to take on the role as studio manager.
She has an extremely strong background in Ballet and Pointe, as well as Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary. Her choreography has won at many dance competitions and she has had experience teaching in Florida, Tennessee, New Jersey and now, New York! She also holds her Vinyasa Yoga Certification through Yoga Alliance.
Heather brings fun and challenging technique-based classes to DANCEintensity that strengthens and pushes students to be their absolute best in a warm environment!
Miss Jenna was a professional NBA dancer for the Boston Celtics for three seasons and has performed in places like Beijing, China, Las Vegas and Walt Disney World! She was the Assistant Director for Starbound National Talent Competition and developed a love for teaching through years of being a dance instructor at studios, schools and camps. With a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism, she has worked at "The Late Show with David Letterman", "The Maury Show", "The Meredith Vieira Show", "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and "Nick Studio 10"! She was featured in the television series "90210", the reality series "The Dance for 18" and the film "Here Comes the Boom". She has also taken undergraduate classes in Early Childhood Education and taught at Tutor Time and Best Learning Center. Miss Jenna's strong passion for dance, entertainment and teaching children has enabled her to be a well-qualified instructor at our studio. She absolutely loves the DANCEintensity family and looks forward to continuing to help her dancers become the best they can be!
Christie has been a dancer since the young age of three. Growing up she performed and competed in New York City and quickly developed a love for teaching. Her responsibility for many talented dancers has led to winning top overalls on both regional and national levels. Her choreography has also been recognized at prestigious competitions such as Jump, Sheer Talent, Beyond the Stars and Hall of Fame Dance Challenge! Christie also graduated from Stony Brook University with a Master's Degree in Health Science & Technology. Her love for dance, health and fitness has enabled her to create the career path that she has always dreamed of. She hopes to inspire many of her students and help them chase their dreams, no matter what they may be!
Jillian has been dancing since the age of three years old. She was a competitive dancer for over ten years and a competitive kickline dancer for six years. Jillian received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland in Special Education and her master’s degree from the University at Albany in Childhood Education. Jillian was a member of the Cortland Danceworks team for four years where she served as captain her last two years. Jillian loves sharing her passion for dance with her students and enjoys watching them grow!
Ann started dancing when she was two and a half years old. She graduated from NYIT with a Culinary Arts degree in 2007 and a Culinary Education Degree in 2009. She has a strong passion for teaching as well as a huge love for kids. She has been teaching dance for the past eleven years and has had many award- winning routines on a regional and national level. She is looking forward to teaching at DANCEintensity in Season 6!
Carly began dancing at the age of 3. She has experience in many styles, her favorite being contemporary. She is currently a senior at Smithtown High School West. She has been a part of the Smithtown West Whisperettes since 7th grade and was the captain of the team! Carly has a passion for dance and is honored to be a part of the DANCEintensity family. She is so excited to share her passion and love for dance with all of her students!
Maria has been a devoted dancer since the age of 2! After trying many different sports, she knew dance had her heart. It became a major part of her life as she danced competitively beginning in elementary school. Maria has competed in all styles but her favorite is hip hop. She was a hardworking member of the Commack Middle School team and later became a proud member of the Commack Varsity Cougarettes. Dance was her whole life in high school and she truly missed it while she went through her college years. When she was lucky enough to land a teaching job in Bethpage School District as a 5th grade teacher she wanted to get even more involved. Her dream came true and she was hired as the Kickline Coach at Bethpage High School. As a dance teacher and kickline coach, Maria feels so lucky to be able to share her passion with her student athletes!
Caitlin has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She was a competitive dancer for 14 years and has competed in New York City as well as Massachusetts. Caitlin was a member of Cortland DanceWorks, the hip hop team at SUNY Cortland, for 3 years. Caitlin has always had a passion for teaching since she was little. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Adolescent Education of Mathematics from SUNY Cortland. Caitlin is currently a permanent substitute math teacher and tutor. Her favorite styles are jazz and hip hop. She is so excited to be a part of the Dance Intensity family!
