Dance Intensity Studio Policies

REGISTRATION FEE

  • A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $35/dancer is due upon enrollment each dance season.

TUITION

  • Tuition is broken down for the season into 10 equal installments for your convenience.
  • There are no refunds or credits applied to accounts due to student absences and studio holiday/seasonal closings. 
  • All fees are posted to accounts on the 25th of the month prior.
  • Tuition is processed via autopay on the 1st of each month via credit card* on file. *Credit card fees may apply.
  • Cash or check payments are accepted prior to the 1st of each month.
  • Valid credit cards are required on all accounts throughout the entirety of the season for enrollment/participation in dance classes. Now accepting Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.
  • A late fee of $20 is posted to all accounts with past due balances on the 5th of each month. 
  • Registration fee & first months tuition are due at the time of enrollment for your child to be fully registered in our season. 
  • All payments are non-refundable. 

ENROLLMENT/WITHDRAWALS/WAITLIST

  • All dancers must be enrolled online to participate in the season.
  • All enrollments are done online via our website/parent portal.
  • Minimum 3 dancers in each class for classes to run. You will be notified if the class your dancer chose has low enrollment and we will happily provide alternative classes for you.
  • To withdraw from a class, a written email must be sent and a confirmation email must be received for the withdrawal to be complete. Otherwise, payments/enrollment will continue for the remainder of the season. We do not accept withdrawals via phone calls, in-person or messages/voicemails.
  • If your desired class is full, you may join our waitlist. 
  • Waitlists are first-come-first-served and enrollments will go in order of the waitlist should spots become available.
  • Dance Intensity cannot guarantee waitlisted dancers will have the opportunity to be enrolled so we highly recommend choosing a class with available spots as an alternative. 
  • All payments are non-refundable.

FREE TRIALS/DROP-INS

  • We offer (1) Free Trial per child.
  • Additional "Trials" will be considered a Drop-In Class. 
  • Drop-In Fees are $25/class per dancer.
  • Cash, Check & Credit Cards* accepted. *Credit Card fees may apply.
  • Dancers interested in a Trial or Drop-In must be registered through our online system and a credit card is required to have on file. 
  • Class(es) desired must have availability.
  • All payments are non-refundable.

DRESS CODE

  • Please visit the "DRESS CODE" tab for full details.
  • Students are expected to dress appropriately for all classes. 
  • No large jewelry, jeans or street shoes permitted in our dance classes.
  • Dancers taking a Trial Class or Drop-In may wear any comfortable clothing such as leggings, t-shirts, tank tops, etc. and may wear socks or sneakers if they do not have required attire/shoes at the time of their Trial/Drop-In Class.

ATTENDANCE

  • Please notify our front desk should your child be late/absent.
  • Make-up classes are offered with approval from the Director.
  • No refunds/credits are given for missed classes. 

COSTUMES

  • All dancers required to perform in our annual recital and will be required 1 costume per class with the exception of "Turns & Jumps II" class.
  • Costume Balances due in November 2024. Cash, Check & Credit Cards* accepted. *Credit Card fees may apply.
  • Costumes cannot be exchanged or refunded. 
  • There is an additional $10 processing/shipping fee per costume ordered after November 15th. 
  • Costume balances must be at $0 to receive your costume(s).
  • Additional fees may occur in the rare occasion alterations are needed.
  • All payments are non-refundable.

RECITAL

  • All enrolled dancers are required to attend recital and are automatically registered into recital upon enrollment.
  • Each class performs (1) routine at recital with the exception of "Turns & Jumps II" class. 
  • Our annual Recital is at the end of our season in June. Specific dates & location vary by season and are TBD. 
  • Tickets for recital are sold separately and are not included in your recital registration.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

As a registered student of Dance Intensity,  you are granting Dance Intensity permission to take photos/videos of your child and use such photos/videos to promote its studio.
